How to Pack a Box for Air Freight

Start with a sturdy, new corrugated box that fits your items snugly. Used or weak boxes can crush when freight is stacked on a pallet or loaded onto an aircraft.

Wrap each item separately and fill empty space with padding so nothing shifts. Seal all seams with strong packing tape, and shake the box gently: if you feel movement, add more padding.

Attach a clear shipping label with the full delivery address and a contact phone number, and keep a copy inside the box. Remember that standard shipments accept packages up to 108 inches in length and 150 lbs per piece.
